Services Offered

A: At Remedy Health Alaska we provide age-appropriate preventative health exams and screening, health education and workshops, wellness exams, preoperative exams, acute illness visits, chronic disease management, lifestyle and behavioral counseling, and occupational exams (including DOT medical certification exams).

We do not manage chronic pain.

A: Please call us for same-day or urgent appointments and we will do our best to schedule you for those appointments.

A: Telehealth visits and virtual visits are available. We can schedule self-pay patients for telehealth and virtual appointments and insurance paying patients if this is covered by your insurance health plan.

New Patients

A: We are accepting new patients at this time.

A: You can self-schedule through our website. If you have any questions or difficulty, please feel free to contact us and we will help you get scheduled.

A: If you are scheduling for chronic disease management or a preoperative exam, please bring all of your prescribed medications and supplements to the appointment

A: We do not require a referral to receive care at Remedy Health Alaska.

Insurance and Payment

A: We are credentialed with several insurance payers. Please contact us for more information.

A: We do offer self-pay visits but do not offer sliding scale options at this time

A: All co-pays for insurance patients and cash payments for self-pay patients are due at the time of service.

Appointments

A: You can self-schedule through our website. If you have any questions or difficulty, please feel free to contact us and we will help you get scheduled.

A:This office requires 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your new patient or initial visit and 24-hour notice if you cannot keep your follow-up or routine visit. If you miss an appointment or fail to give sufficient notice, you will be charged $50.00 for that missed appointment. This payment is expected before any further treatment is provided.

Refills are provided during office visits.

Phone calls requiring 10 minutes or more of the provider's time will be charged as a minimum visit ($40/15 minutes for self-pay patients and insurance covered patients if telehealth is allowed by your insurance plan).

A: Yes. We do have an online patient portal.

A: Refills should be requested in follow up appointments.
